Every company out there is different. Even two seemingly similar companies might give you two completely different experiences. When it comes to San Diego house painting companies, it’s no different.
We wanted to give you some insight into what you can expect when you work with PaintGreen to have the interior or exterior of your house painted.
Great Communication from Beginning to End
When you’re thinking about the qualities you want in a San Diego house painter, good communication may not be at the top of your list, but it probably should be. You want a company that is intentional about listening to your needs and good at communicating what they will do, so you know exactly what to expect from them. At your first in-home consultation, we’ll ask lots of questions to get a good idea of the scope of your project. We’ll also educate you about all your options—including the types of eco-friendly products we use. We will then provide you with a detailed quote based on your needs. The quote will spell out what we will be doing in your home, provide you with an all-inclusive price, and include details about our warranty.
If you choose to go with PaintGreen, we will keep in touch with you regarding when you can expect the work to begin and how long you can expect it to take.
When our painters arrive at your home to get started, there will be a foreman with them with whom you can communicate and who will give you regular updates. If you have any questions or concerns, he or she is there to help, or if clarification is needed from you, the foreman will be sure to ask. Your foreman is also there to make sure you are completely satisfied with the work once the painting is done.
We do our best to hire people who are not only skilled painters, but also those who are personable and easy to communicate with.
Proper Prep Work to Ensure a Great Outcome
Another thing you can expect from PaintGreen is that we will do the proper prep work before painting begins. Prep work is the key to a lasting paint job. Almost any painter can do a job that looks good at first, but if they didn’t properly prep the surfaces ahead of time, it won’t look good for long. Paint may start to chip, peel, or bubble, leaving your surfaces looking worse than they did before you had them painted!
At PaintGreen, we know the importance of prep work. Depending on the surface, this means doing things like pressure washing, filling cracks, patching holes, and/or scuff sanding. We do extensive masking to protect the areas of your home that aren’t getting painted from overspray.
At the End of the Job
When all the painting is done, our crews clean up after themselves. They will leave your house broom clean and not leave anything behind for you to dispose of.
Like we mentioned before, the foreman on your project is there to make sure you are happy with our work before we call your project complete. But even If, after everyone leaves, you find something that needs touching up later, give us a call and we will take care of it!
We hope this has given you some insight into what you can expect from our painting company. If you have any questions, or if you would like to schedule an in-home consultation, contact us today.
