PaintGreen was tasked with painting the exterior of Sebastian’s beautiful home in the North Park neighborhood of San Diego.

We painted the siding of the home a lovely shade of blue, which is contrasted by the bright white trim and the two columns on the front porch. His home now stands out in the neighborhood (in a good way!) and has a fresh, updated look. Given the age of the home, extensive prep work was done prior to painting, using lead-safe work practices to prevent any possible lead exposure to our painters or the homeowners.

In addition to painting the siding and trim, we also freshened up the exterior brick on the fireplace by doing a custom “blackwash.” We first painted all of the brick with a red base coat, and then went over it with thinned black paint. This treatment gives the brick some dimension and helps it to look more like natural brick, rather than just flat, painted brick.
